Proudly stationed at Merchants Yard at Moonshine, one of Leicester’s most exciting and stylish destinations, the Horsebox sits at the heart of a venue that perfectly balances industrial character with a polished, contemporary edge. Merchants Yard has quickly become known for its atmosphere, energy, and curated feel — making it the ideal backdrop for exceptional food and memorable gatherings.

Our seasonal menu has been carefully crafted to reflect bold flavours and quality ingredients, featuring dishes such as slow-braised beef shin flatbread, malt-glazed chicken thighs, a classic burger with deeply caramelised onion, and grilled asparagus finished with tahini and lemon. Each dish is designed to be both indulgent and refined, bringing together comfort and elegance in every bite.

From the first weekend in May through to the final weekend in September, we open every Friday and Saturday, inviting guests to step into a space where food, setting, and atmosphere come together effortlessly.
